We like to create a bit of work / life balance here in South Florida…

Stopping by the beach after work is one of my favorite things to do and it’s possible everyday… if you’re up for it! As a reminder, PCU is located 3 miles from the beach. Many of our students find an Airbnb or hotel right on the beach and bring loved ones along for a vacation / business trip. Robert prepares for another polishing class next week where students learn more than just polishing. Students will receive information on a wide range of topics such as the polished concrete process, polishable overlays, self-leveling underlayment cements, decorative stains and sealers, alternative finishes, as well as, business marketing through social media, appropriate pricing, estimating projects, and writing proposals.

As a student, you will learn the various stages of a project including demolition, surface prep, grinding, honing, polishing, and applying a final sealer to finish the job. While focusing on the ten step full mechanical polishing process, students will study the difference between metal and resin bonded diamonds. Metals are used in the beginning stages to flatten and refine the concrete. Register today to learn the full process!

Students find learning easy and fun in our relaxed classroom environment. We have over six hundred square feet of concrete slabs in our dedicated training facility where you will gain hands-on experience!
